Ceramic Honeycomb Substrate AceChemPack assists customers in developing specific/customized ceramic honeycomb with the competitive price and quality. We construct the required tooling, then manufacture products according to need. Customer satisfaction is our goal. Ceramic honeycomb structures offer maximum surface areas with minimal volume. Therefore, they present an ideal geometric structure for interchangeability technical processing. Ceramic honeycomb materials exist mainly as the catalyst support /carrier , heat exchange media, Ceramic filter plate for cast/ foundry and High alumina honeycomb ceramic plate/slice filters for sulfur removal/recovery . This series of products have already been exported to U.S.A., Germany, Korea, Japan etc. Cell structure density ranges from 10 to300cpsi/400cpsi/600cpsi/800 CPSI (cells per square inch). Material are typically available in cordierite, mullite and alumina etc on customer request. Honeycomb ceramics block shape: rectangular, cylinder or ellipse. Cell shape in square, circle, hexagon, triangle etc. The specification list in the website is just a part of our available specification, for your reference. Ceramic honeycomb structures are primarily produced from the material cordierite in either dense, porous or highly porous forms. Other materials can be supplied on customer request, Cellular ceramics provide the high surface area you need for catalyst, produce very low pressure drop, low thermal expansion coefficient, strong thermal impact resistance, large surface area and good corrosion resistance. Advantages of Cordierite Ceramic catalyst supports, Cordierite Ceramic catalyst supports deliver cost savings and improve performance due to:

pressure drop… cutting fan load for significant energy savings.
3. Lighter
weight… so less structural support is required. 5. Thermal durability… enabling them to withstand operating temperatures of 2190 F (1200 C) and spikes to 2500 F (1410 C). In fact, the material strength actually increases with temperature, nearly doubling from ambient temperature to 2190 F. 6. Increase surface area without paying a pressure drop penalty with thin wall products.

industry, Regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO). Volatile organic compounds VOC can be removed from waste gases by treatment through a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO). An RTO contains a ceramic heat exchanger bed that is utilized for the preheating and cooling of the waste gases before the gases enter and exit the combustion chamber, respectively. Honeycomb monoliths provide a more efficient alternative to other ceramic media, such as saddles or balls, that have conventionally been used in RTOs Ceramic honeycomb materials are mainly utilized in heat recovery unit of RTO s instead of ceramic saddles.
